« I have a multidirectional approach. That is why I work in "series". It allows me to dig, to search. I always have to dig, again and again. I have the illusion that we can get closer to the bottom of things. The inexplicable. It's a mix of work and chance. A bit like in poetry, suddenly something is there. This is never the answer. But it can be something that enlightens us, that illuminates the depths. It's not always distinguishable but it's there. Something that relates to our deepest humanity, to the unspeakable, to being in the world. »
